About this event

Health equity is finally on the national policy agenda. People from the public and private sector are working to promote equity in many corners of the US health system and beyond. But how do we know these efforts are increasing health equity?

Join us for this three-part virtual workshop as we come together to understand, dissect, and develop possible approaches to effectively measure our progress in achieving health equity. These one-hour sessions will cover topics that can be relevant and applied to efforts across all sectors – academia, civil and community-based organizations, government, private entities, and philanthropy.

Objectives:

• Part 1: (March 15, 12:00 - 1:00 CST) Discuss approaches to evaluating health equity achievement

• Part 2: (April 19, 12:00 - 1:00 CST) Begin to apply approaches to evaluating health equity and determine the implications of choices

• Part 3: (May 17, 12:00 - 1:00 CST) Develop a consensus approach for evaluating the achievement of health equity

Presenter:

Andrew Anderson, Associate Director - P4HE Collaborative, Assistant Professor - Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine

Workshops are free and open to all people and organizations who share the common goal of a future where everyone has the ability to live the healthiest life possible.

Initial registration will automatically register participants for all three sessions.
